My Shee needed a fresh top end for this season of riding. I searched around the sponsors and found that Passion was offering the best price on a top end rebuild. I decided to go with them. Called them up, got the info, sent my cylinders out to them for a fresh bore and hone and new Wiseco pistons and gaskets.

I received my cylinders back in about 2 weeks. Shipping was a little slow but we are pretty far apart so whatever. I open the box only to find my cylinders and no pistons and gaskets. Ok so maybe they sent them in another package. I wait a few days, still nothing. I call them up and get no answer on either numbers. I left and message with my name and number and I explained the situation. I waited another two days with no call back. I call them again, finally get an answer this time and she tells me, "Let me call our supplier and find out whats going on." Couple hours pass and no call back yet. I call them AGAIN and finally find out, they never shipped them out. Seriously?

So now it is going on a month for this deal from start to finish. They said they would send them out this past friday. I got a tracking # but its not in the system yet. I will check again monday and hopefully they are on their way now...hopefully priority mail too since I have been waiting this long.

Overall, my experience with them has been below average. Horrible communication has been the big factor here. I asked her, "If I would have never called, then I guess the pistons would have never gone out?" Her answer, "Yup." My suggestion to them, CHECK UP ON YOUR ORDERS. ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF RUNNING A BUSINESS?

I understand a lot of you guys have had great experiences with Passion...I'm just sharing my experience with everyone. And I'm not very happy.

I hate to hear that I had no problems at all from Jim. I hope he gets it right with you. Good luck with your build. Also he does work a day job and at night he works on motors at Passion so I found the best time to get ahold of him is at night arount 6 pm to 10pm hope this helps you.

Got my pistons today via priority mail. Just glad I got my stuff and can finally get to rebuilding. But I still have to buy wristpin bearings now. :rotflmao:

Sorry you had trouble Bill. Between a communication problem on my part and two unsuccessfull shipping attempts from my inept parts supplier, you ended up with a disaster on your hands. On two seperate occasions I thought that whole situation was under control just to be lied to by people I spend a shitload of money with every year...again Im very sorry for your troubles.

So much for the theory of matching the bore size to the piston banghead

Wiseco's accuracy is incredible ,any given piston is within .0002 of another of the same size in the modern CNC era. I have a designated micrometer for each size range specifically calibrated for Wiseco products. I can maintain a specified finish bore trueness approx. 8 times better than Yamaha ever did on Banshee engines from the factory...without ever even seeing the piston thats going to be used....Jim
