Hilarious
from my experience it has been the shearers.
joee20002
from my experience it has been the shearers. X2 I think cpis are great for a dune bike...
J-Madd
Which pipes give you more mid to top end cpi or shearers Depends on exhaust port duration.

sleeper06
I thought by the 1320 in your sig you were a 1/4 mile guy, shearers all the way
Big Bucks
i had a 7 mil stock cyl that was race ported by white knuckle racing, and on the dunes the cpi performed better than the sheere, but on the dyno the cpi made 9 hp less than sheere, but the curve was alot better with the cpi....., i thought i might add those were inframes..... but it realy matters on your exaust port timing jmo

Sandjunkie29
I am new to this sight and it's amazing how much info you guys have I hope that I will be able to share what I know witch is not much I have v3s and CPIs and my bike is all top end the only thing I did not like about sheers were all the welds on them I don't know if that has changed
1320CaliKing
The welds on shearers are good just like cpi's but if your bike is all top end you should which over to shearers cuz those pipes are ment for top end I have a friend that has cpi's n another that has shearers there's not that much of a difference. But there is a difference you can feel and it does matter on porting intake n exhaust
stroking
ok what about pro powers, are they better than CPI's ? with a 196* exhaust what would be the best of all out dragging ?
J-Madd
ok what about pro powers, are they better than CPI's ? with a 196* exhaust what would be the best of all out dragging ? Shearers or RDZs for that exhaust duration, imo. I don' t know much about power pros.
06specialedition
I don't think you could go wrong either way. They are both great pipes and both pull hard on top. I run CPI inframes on my duner and I like them. And CPI is local to me.
BigRed350x
Shearer pipes. Snipers would be my next choice, then CPI's. CPI's SUCK ASS for access to your plugs and pipe routing back around the filters. I only run them as a last resort.
stroking
heard RDZ pipes smokes both of these with ease
