nastyracing
I'm trying to jet my duner. Motor a fresh build. 18cc domes v force 2 reeds. Timing +4 heavy CPI dune/drag port Lrd exhaust air box no lid. Compression 205 psi in each hole yes on race fuel. I ran first day out with 160 50 pilot 1.5 turns on air screw. Bike ran ok down low but 3/4 was faster then full bike wouldn't rev out. So I dropped to 155 main helped bring bike threw all the revs but still very slow. When I tried dropping to 48 pilot at both 1.5 turns out n 2 turns bike wouldn't start when did idle high the revs stuck. So I went back to the 50 now currently at 2 turns on air screw w 50 pilot n the best its been rideable but not right... So my question is after I reach 2.5 turns out on air screw w current 50 pilot then I have to drop to 48? So if I put the 48 back in could I possibly get away n be right w only half of turn on air screw or 1 turn never tried that. But at 1.5 -2 turns bike was to lean n didn't like that pilot. Ne suggestion cause everyone else carbs I pulled apart w similar set ups had 48 pilots actually all of them did. N smaller mains one was lean n mean around 145 so suggestions please. sleeper06
can you get a chop out of it,seems to me a heavy dune drag port should be more in the 168-175 range on the mainIMO
