bansheecaptain
yea started it up again after making sure everything is tight and no cracks , and the one side heats up quick and after couple min the one side is still cool the jug is heating up a bit but the one pipe is cool and the other is hot
jonvia
yea started it up again after making sure everything is tight and no cracks , and the one side heats up quick and after couple min the one side is still cool the jug is heating up a bit but the one pipe is cool and the other is hot mabey you needa adjust air/fuel mixture. mine did that and i adjusted it and everything got better or adjust your idle. that also helped mine out lol. Glamis321
Sounds like the cold side isnt igniting. check and make sure you have spark on that side. switch the plug wires and if the opposite cylinder is now the cold one then its a spark issue
bansheecaptain
Yea I pulled the plugs and tested them against the stud and they were sparking ill double check the wires on the coil and switch plugs maybe the plug isn't putting out a good spark. Does it matter what wire goes in one of the two plugs in the coil
Glamis321
Just swap them on the spark plugs themselves.
bansheecaptain
So I swapped plug wires and put a different plug in and still ran cool and it started to act boggy like loss of power won't rev and I looked around the carbs and saw smoke coming out of the boot between the reed and boot so is that something major or just cause there must of been an air leak it leaked out there instead of the pipe
bansheecaptain
fixed the leak but i went to pull the plug after and that white smoke was coming out of the spark plug hole so im guessing i might have a leak on that side of the head on my noss head maybe the oring didnt set in right
Jereme6655
it could possibly be that your o-ring head gasket has a leak and is leaking so much coolant into your cylinder that it cannot ignite the fuel/air mix...
bansheecaptain
Yea I took the head off there was a broken oring that ust of got pinched putting it together. So fixed that and fired it up it heated up with the other side not as much and still not nearly as much puffing white out the top of the cylinder after yanking plug after fire but did sound much better but now that side of the bike start reving higher then quits so I'm going to look at the carb even tho its brand new maybe something is up in there also
Larry's Shee
On my son's I pulled flywheel, cleaned any rust off stator pole , inside of wheel, and lugs on outside, then set pick-up gap. Also ohm caps and make sure wire is tite. Maybe trim wire 1/4 for new clean connection.
bansheecaptain
How would the stator make the cylinders run unieven even after swapping the leads from on plug to the other
bansheecaptain
Well got the left side going but now the right side is lacking so hoping I didn't pitch a oring on that side putting it back together again.
