Forcefed
I drag race....with the O.K.shunal trip on/off the trailer. What are airfilters????? (Clamp-on K&N`s with the backs cut off and replaced with foam)
J..J.
K&N with O/W in the airbox, vented lid with plugged holes at sea level. Major elevation changes where I ride so I remove the plugs as required. Air pretty dusty especially once I'm being roosted by my buddy. Been ok for 3 years now, did a topend rebuild about 2 months ago and everything was spotless...
boonman
All the replies on the Toomey setup, this may be something I want to try. I was always afraid of getting water/mud on the filter with it. But I guess this is not a concern....
2001SSTBanshee
I use the stock air box lid with the round foam vents, pro flow, and the foam that came with it. I usually only run the inner foam though. PJ 1 foam filter cleaner and oil. I dont like K&N filters myself. I like the polished lid that alba sells with the chanels (i guess) that supposedly let air in but not water, but I think they wanted like 100 bucks and thats why I didnt get it. Anyone ever tried that?
bigboybanshee
I have a K&N, stock airbox w/lid...I ride in mostly mud...I run through water up to the airbox, and a good amount of trails and my setup seems to work wonders
