98MonsterShee
What's up fellas, so today's the 3rd time iv taken the shee out since adding a noss cool head w 22cc.domes, chariot adj timing +4, and k&n filter it rips through trails as I hoped but I'm still losing to the 450 in 1/4 mile drags and he runs his mouth of course like all 4pokes do....I realize I'm more setup for low end power but I'm only losing by half a bike I was wondering what else I could do to get that extra edge, porting my next step but any more bolt on mods till than? chevybanshee91
get pipes if not already and then get a good dune/play port and you will be able to walk all over the 450's
camatv
have a friend hide in the bushes and throw sticks at the
98MonsterShee
Running t-6s 280 main jet, stock pilot....I was planning on an aggressive trail port next just wondering if there was anything more bolt ons till than
RagunCajun
a 1/4? good lord that's long. I bet you top out by 1/8th. If you are only losing by a 1/2 length, then that could be solved by better driving.
chevybanshee91
maybe try running 21cc domes, take off your air box lid- if its still on( re-jet), get some v-force 2/3's, change your gearing to maybe a 13t front for more bottom end or 15t for top, or just port it and go from there
06specialedition
Once you port it you should spank that yfz no problem. X2 with Chevy, is your air box lid on? If so, take that off and rejet.
CFH87
have a friend hide in the bushes and throw sticks at the 450 There seems to always be someone who says to throw something lol my suggestion would be to loosen the lugs on his wheels that should help out
98MonsterShee
Yea loosening and throwin shit might just do the trick lol thatd b the cheaper route......n I meant 1/8 mi. Ur right I'm topped out in a quarter fast
Hooptiee
Not sure how much of a difference it really makes but the Toomey T6 pipes are for a bone stock motor no upgrades, with upgrades your suppose to use their T5's. I'm sure there are other members on here that can tell you the difference in the pipes, just my 2 cents

camatv
ok i did a t-6'd STOCK motor'd bike a while back 290 mains, airbox plate with NO lid torrs removal and a GOOD rider it was able to beat on pavement EASILY a 480cc big bore yfz by about 2-4 lenghts every time. tuning and riding. t-6's like stock motors or motors BUILT for bottom end. they also LOVE taller gearing i used a 15 40t on mine with bottom end porting and v-force reeds and higher comp was a blast to ride overall just not much on top ( but not what i was shooting for)
Coupelx
i had no problems with 4 pokes with my t5's and stock ports. so many of them cant ride worth a shit anyways
98MonsterShee
As far as riding goes I def consider myself just as good if not better than my buddy we started riding years ago, his 450 is far from stock I think he's got like hot cams, k&n, pipes, jetted, few other mods.........as far as the t-6s im pretty much setup for low end so that works and planned on an aggressive trail port, I could try the 15t front 40t rear for some more top end
