06specialedition
I'm going to do a pancake bearing, and a billet impeller and gear. Is there anything else that would be worth doing while I'm doing the pancake bearing? Clutch upgrades...etc? I'm no expert on clutch and trans mods, so any suggestions would be awesome. This will be on my 06SE aggressive dune ported stock stroke. Thanks, Zach

06specialedition
ever thought about doing the shift star mod? Yeah I've thought about that too. Are they a pain to install?
Boston
you just gotta round off the points on the star its suppose to make it shift smoother. looks very very easy
Jereme6655
hey special......its a piece of cake. When you go to do that pancake bearing you will see the shift star in there......its literally just a machine screw holding it on. it has a pin also to align it and hold it in a specific spot while its on its shaft. just pull the screw (just make to try not and strip it) and pull the star out. Then round down the points on the stars.......there's a write-up on doing it....its super super easy. Then put it back on its shaft and align the pin and screw it back down.......done. Sounds easy enough What about just buying an already modded one from a sponsor? I noticed a few sponsors carry them.

You could just do that too. I've tried both my own mod as well as buying it done. I'd also get the "Shift Pro" and use that along with the shift star. But don't use the lighter spring that comes with it. Just the roller bearing. I'd also do the water pump cover vent eliminator because you don't need it and it cleans up the motor a little. I wanted to get the new Mull impeller but I'm not sure when they will be available. I was thinking of doing this instead: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chariot-Banshee-Coolant-ULTRA-HIGH-Flow-Impeller-KIT-/280626772373?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4156a8b995#ht_1833wt_939

BigRed350x
Shift pro roller bearing w/ stock spring shift star mod billet basket if you don't have it already you could also get a steel bushing to put in the idler gear to replace the bronze bushing that wears out. I have been waiting for some time now & mull is still out of stock on them. Cool, I was looking for some feedback on that kit but couldn't find any. Glad to hear you like it. I figured anything Chariot is top notch so I'm not too worried. I talked to Brandon at Mull and he said the new designed impellers should be out in the next two weeks or so........I'm temped to wait for one of those he said they will be the best of the best, but i'm not sure yet. He was a great guy to talk too and extremely knowledgeable.
