TimJ
I am at the stage in my engine rebuild that I need to choose a pipe. My mods are: bored .10 over, stock stroke crank thats is weilded, aggressive dune port, NOSS cool head, stock carbs, v-force 3 reeds. Which is the best for my application Shearer, CPI, or T5's (Toomeys T5s are on backorder for another 2 weeks per Toomey). I would just like to get some input guidence on which way to go. F.A.S.T. racing is doing all the machine work.

_Ray_
CPI's are my favorite so far. I'm ordering some once they come in from back order
camatv
you need to cinsider your riding style. what does jeff say ( i'm betting on cpi's?)
TimJ
have not talked to Jeff yet about them he is going to call me when he is done with the machine work. I know they sell CPI and Shearer. I ride open areas, some hill climbing, and some flat track, Maybe a drag race here and there. I guess you can say I am an all kind of rider.I like it all. I wanted to see what everybody else thought of the pipes. I have not heard much about shearer or cpi. Most people around here run Toomey or FMF that I have seen so far. you need to cinsider your riding style. what does jeff say ( i'm betting on cpi's?) 06specialedition
I have some similar mods to yous and my CPI's kick ass. You can't go wrong IMO.
fastbanshee8
I've got CPI's, and love them. Even though they are a "drag pipe", they hit sooner than the Fatty's I had, plus they rev out more. The CPI's would be a good pipe, for you.
05Twin350
I love my T-5's and I ride trails, drag here and there, and some track as well.
SuperMex
if your leaning towards CPIs you should look into R-2s as well there a great pipe and different than the usual CPI or Shearers you see everywhere
CFH87
I would go shearer thats just the way i'm going kevin said they make the best power between cpi and shearer. But hes also porting my cyls for the pipes so that always helps.
