Sacho87
I recently put a new top end on my 97 shee. It's bored fifty over, cool head, toomey pipes, 280 mains, boyensen power reeds, hot rod crank kit, pro flo filter. My question is it won't idle now since Iv replace topend runs great other than idle stays cool has great power, but I keep foulin plugs. Before I replaced top end never had any trouble with idle. Larry's Shee
Go back thru and clean fuel system tank, petcock, carbs. If stock carbs be sure to clean one at a time because they're different. Be sure to remove pilot jet and clean that passage. Set float level. Also while you have it apart record your pilot and needle clip posistion. Do you have tors? Maybe try adjusting air screw before you do anything else.
Sacho87
Also when it's cold, after I start it revs really high so I put it in gear ride it till it get warm then it won't idle. It's got the tors eliminator kit

Jereme6655
if it starts to rev up naturally on its own then you have an air leak somewhere and it is sucking in air which is leaning the HELL outta your motor. If you dont' find that air leak and fix it then you will wind up melting down your motor REAL soon
