acroadam
try oiling them up any way Ok, I'll try that. Do you know signs of a stretched clutch cable? Thanks. Adam
bigblockbanshee
Normally when your lever adjustment is maxxed out you know you've either got some significant wear or your clutch plates are wearing thin. On the other hand I would think you could remedy that somewhat by messing with the adjuster that you've been having problems with. If you measured the plates themselves that would tell you a lot about what's going on in general, obviously not in this situation though because its too tight as it is. That's my opinion anyway. Ya the only reason I think something is out cuz I couldn't get my banshee to roll with the clutch lever in. The accuator arrow was lined up until I messed with it. I'm just gonna order a new adjuster bolt and locking nut, cut it acts like is stripped, put my clutch cover back on, and see if I can get it to roll when everything is on. My plates look great, i didn't measure them tho.
