BadLarry08
I ordered the toomey silencer/stinger pipe O-rings the other day, they seem like they're too big? Do they go outside of the stinger tube bolts or are they supposed to be smaller and go inside around the stinger tube diameter. they seem roughly the size of the header tube O-rings. thanks. Starwriter
Aren't those o rings you're talking about for the silencer end caps? O ring->end cap->snapring
BadLarry08
No I believe they go in between the silencer body and the stinger tube flange. They connect with two allen heads.
Burt Reynolds
The orings go behind the end cap. not between the stinger and tube where the allens are
BadLarry08
I had a feeling this was a stupid question. lol. So nothing goes between the stinger tube and silencer? Although i did just find this in a Toomey pipe review on another forum, so maybe im not completely wrong here..."Silencers now have a high temp O-ring sealing the stinger pipe. (no more using silicone gasket maker)" Edited March 24, 2011 by BadLarry08
