Loc Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 I searched and looked and searched some more and could not find what I was looking for. What is the main difference between the carbs. Which carb is a better setup for the 421 Cub. I have read both good and bad things about both carbs and after reading more and more I only became more confused. NYUK Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 airstrykers have lil fins in the intake side, i was skeptical about running them on my 421 set up. but am glad i did, they work great, great throttle response, no problems at all. bbcmudtruck Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 I disagree. I ran some 35mm airstrikers on my 4mil and we couldn't ever get it tuned right. We could get it close, but if I remember correctly I couldn't get the pilot circuit right. I switched back to regular pwks for my 10mil and it was as easy as setting the idle and poof I was done.
