gstaten24
What is you're jetting at right now? (main, pilot, air screw, needle clip position) also what is you're elevation. It's probably a jetting issue if you changed anything like added new pipes or any modifications really. Did u do a leak down test before u started it? Also is the tube that goes between the carbs there?

gstaten24
Hmm weird. Well when I had just t6s on my bike here in clovis I was running a 290 main jet but I have pods so idk how big of difference that would make in jetting compared to you're single. Did you try unplugging the ebrake like Troyz said?

troyzstang
what is the ebrake sorry If your bike has the stock clutch lever there will be a wire coming off of it that will go to a plug right behind the radiator. Follow it down from the clutch lever to that location and disconnect it. Then try to start the bike.
sleeper06
t-5 set up 280-290 main 27.5 pilot needle 4th clip,if your going up n down with jetting n still having same issue chances are its electrical.I would try the jets i suggested then move on to electrical being you stated stuff is new
ranger505
i dont have no wire coming off the clutch, ive tried jeting it differant ways i even put my friends carbs on and it sounds better but only at idle when you give it gas it sputters. i looked at my herness it looke good all connectors look ok bolth wires are getting good spark. a friend of mines told me that maybe its the crank he said the crank might of spunn but its new its not welded but i really havent even got to enjoy riding it any other ideas it sucks i probly have about over $2500 in the motor and i cant even enjoy it. Larry's Shee
The F A I L was for taking it to the stealer and paying for nothing. First thing do do is make sure they did not put stock jets back in You changed NOTHING during rebuild? Porting, pipes, air cleaner, domes, oil/fuel ratio ? Did you do a leakdown test ? What kind of stator did you get? Check that the TORS box is not hooked up, left frame rail under tank. Did you set pick-up coil gap? Did the new coil come with new plug caps? Make sure ground from stator to engine/frame and coil to frame is clean and tight. Is the choke crossover tube in place? 3inch tube that goes between both carbs across from the choke plunger. Is the crossover or boost bottle ( ) in place correctly? Double check ALL connections and switches. Consider the fact that new electrical components might be bad, might try swapping your buddys parts for testing. Coil, stator, cdi. Didn't feel like typing last night, sorry. Post back with results. fastquad02blaster
It might be your stator. People on here have had problems with RS stators. Try putting your old one back in and see if that fixes the prob.
