dicedealer702
So I went to start my banshee for the first time to break it in. It took a few kicks, but when it turned it was stuck wot for about ten seconds untill I pulled the wires to shut it off. I hope It did not ruin any thing. I am sure the problem is in the carbs . I am kind of scared to start it agian
Phelps
check your carb slides to make sure they are all the way down. either a cable not set right, or the slides are in backwards.
dicedealer702
check your carb slides to make sure they are all the way down. either a cable not set right, or the slides are in backwards. I moved the slides all the way down on both and also tried switching the slides. They are 35mm pwk so I don't think it matters which slide is in which carb

bansheedude55
do you have tors on it still? or the parking brake safety? do you have a line going from one carb to the other for the choke?!

Jereme6655
yea sounds like your runnin really lean. Did you do a leakdown test on the motor before you started it? might have an air leak...
dirtydownunder
as phelps said, make sure the slides are down, and when you flick the throttle you can hear them hit the base of the carb. wind all the idle screws out and same with the throttle cable at both ends so you have to give it throttle to get it to idle. then go from there. what inlet manifold are you using ? has the throttle cable been rerouted ? 10 seconds is a long time haha.
