gstaten24
I saw in my clymers that the float height is supposed to be a certain height and I was wondering what u use to measure it, it doesnt look like you can get a ruler or sumtin in there. I'm asking because for the last year or so my left cylinder cuts out sometimes and I thought maybe a bad seal but I just rebuilt the entire engine so brand new seals and everything and the engine mechanically runs good but it still cuts out on the left side. I've changed jets, adjusted the screws and needles and still does it so I'm thinking it has to do with that float height cuz that's the only part I Havnt messed with. Thanks got any help!! knelson
with the carb upside down, the float should be perfectly parrallel = with the carb body (where the bowl meets the carb).
