Like Jeff is saying I too had an experience with 1 set of FMFs, they were on a buddies bike, and the expension chamber rotted straight thru in one winter here in southern Ontario. I know we use salt on the roads, but for that cost, they should last longer than that. Not sure on your location, but this is pertinent for sure.

I voted gnarlys, not because I ran them before, but because they were designed specifically for trail riding, unlike the popular pro circuit...

I actually think my Paul Turner Hi Revs would make a better trail pipe than the Pro Circuits. In my experiences the pro's hit alot harder and would be more tiresome on all but the most wide open trails....The Rev's seem to come on sooner and alot smoother, so I would assume the Mids were even more suitable.

PT Mids or FMF gnarly.

if you had t-6 i would have voted for that..

and thats after i PERSONALLY have used fmf sst's, pro circuits, fmf fatty's, and t-6 on the SAME motor. loved the t-6 in the trails.. they sounded great, looked great, fit great, and were excellent in the trails.

i had fmf sst's on my 03 slightly built motor, ran good..then switched to a friends pt mids and wow really woke up my bottom end .

now have pc's on my stockish motor and really like them too so far.. so my votes would be pc's or pt's..

p.s all i do is trail ride/climb hills

Deal fell through on the Pro Circuits, so now i'm looking at FMF Fattys. Seems a lot of people swear by them on the trails, and only a few dislike them

Seriously though the gnarly is their trail pipe. The fatty is like more of an all around pipe. Call it mid top or what you will, but generally it performs ok in the bottom mid, really good in the upper midrange. Check this out. It shows the difference between a bike with stock pipes and with fatty's and K&N. Notice how the stock pipes came on a good bit sooner, but the fatty's, once they came on pulled a lot further. This would be good for more wide open trails.

If the trails you ride get really technical, I'd say go for the gnarly's, which surely come on sooner than the fatys.
