tedd1
Have you rode the 250? It'll feel like a mini bike after riding the Banshee...
camatv
have you ever rode a dirt bike? some people ( including me) just cannot ride a dirt bike they take a special set of skill to ride one and to be really well at it i mean yea anybody can jump on one and ride a wheelie but how many times have you seen people dump them in corners and fly off shit and break their necks.. its up to you ( id keep the banshee)

Boston
i wouldnt trade a shee for a 250 4 poke! if it was a 450 i would consider it.
troyzstang
i wouldnt trade a shee for a 250 4 poke! if it was a 450 i would consider it. I think it would be a huge mistake. The 2001-2002 years have major issues with carbs & there not cheap. If you want a dirtbike you can grow into I would recommend a 250 Two-stroke. You already know how to maintain two-stroke machines. The rebuild is less then half the cost of 4 stroke models. You WILL NOT be happy with the throttle response of that bike. Plus by the pictures you posted the bike was not properly maintained. Honestly it looks like it pretty worn out. You can find 250 two strokes in much better shape for $1,200 or LESS.. Don't make a mistake you WILL REGRET..... banshee55
I mean i wanna 4 stroke more than a 2 stroke though... And what goes bad wit the carb?
bansheesrtoys
i wouldn't do it. First a 250 four stoke is like owning a 125 2-stroke. Second my freind has a kfx250f andi rode that thing and it sucked. seemed like you sitt to high.power was nice for a four stroke. Third since he owed his bike he had to rebuild it 3 times more than i did my shee in the same time frame. plus i can split my own cases he has to have somebody do it or go buy the tool.here are some parts he had to replace , 3rd,4th gear, clutch basket, timing chain, timing chain slides, pitson, crank, rods, bearings, and last but not least valves. and thats another thing you have to adjust the valves ever soo often, and sure its not that hard. But if you do fuck it up say bye bye valves after that piston smashes into them. banshee55
Well i mean i want a 4 stroke bike though... What year was his 250? And he prob beat the shit outta it.. Am i right??
06specialedition
i wouldnt trade a shee for a 250 4 poke! if it was a 450 i would consider it. I personally wouldn't do it. If you REALLY want a dirt bike, I would get a 450. You'll get the 250 and end up wanting more power IMO.
jbooker82
Save up a $1000 bucks and buy a drit bike and keep your shee. MX bikes are cheap they absolutly hold no value. You can find 1-2 year old machines for $2500 so an older 00" machine should be easly found.
RZBansheeMan
Word.. don't trade your Banshee for a gay 250f bike, and like already stated you can find 250 2 stroke bikes for cheap and have way more power / reliability then that bike. It looks like that bike has some kind of trials bike seat on it....
DallasGDub
The 250 is a heavy turd. He is coming out on top if you trade. Sell your shee and Save for a 450 if you want a bike.
