tbcustomz
from what I have read you remove the plugs and install a gauge that has a insert that screws in a far as the plug. Hold the throttle wide open and kick until the gauge stops going up. Repeat for the other side. I have read different things as far as doing it on a cold motor or warm. Most seem to recommend with the motor cold.

Snopczynski
motor should be warm to do the test if the bike will run.

For a true reading, each adapter should have a schader n it.
camatv
i have an old snap on gague my grandpappy used was my inheritance.. i just drop it in and kick till it stops most 2 strokes with stock head wont start with the kicker below 110ish PSI cold. if its got a cool head it can vary a lot i ususally just compare the 2 cylinders to eachother. okbeast
What's everyone's opinion on the # of threads on the compression tester being the same as the plugs? Most of the testers have 1/2 the threads that a plug do.
