jtraptor660
So heres my issue. Im having issues with my filters fitting in my frame. Its a custom frame. I was thinking of running aluminum tubing to put the filters further back. Would the tubes hinder the performance at all

There will def be filters there. Ive had the frame to the shop 3 times and dont want to go back but if it makes a huve diff in HP then i might. fastquad02blaster
It shouldn't make enough difference to notice. It might however give you more low end. Usually, the longer the intake tubes on something, the more torque you get to an extent.

Coupelx
Thnx for the input guys. Would anybody else like to chime in with some info. You might try some silicone couplers and step up the size of the pipe. this will obviously require a filter with a bigger inlet but it would prevent them from being any restriction if you have an air hungry engine. similar to the ginormous inlet pipe you see on turbocharged vehicles such as diesel trucks.
