bluebanshee421
You could also check the pistons to make sue they're in good condition, um make sure it hasnt sucked in any reeds and just go from there and congrats on the new bike your gonna love it. 06specialedition
Congrats on the purchase! I would suggest not riding it until you work out the little bugs and make sure your jetting is on.

MN SHEE
sounds like the choke tube between the carbs is off. are the carbs stock?
Jereme6655
if they are stock carbs that are on the bike....then there should be a black tube that goes between the carbs. If its there then that could be the problem with your bike. They need to be balanced and the tube causes one of the carbs to not be choked when your missing that tube. bansheeman2002
you know what there was no tube there when i took them off would that make it run so crappy and not start
MN SHEE
where the choke is on the left carb at the front look straight across twards the other carb the tube should be 2 to 3 inches long if you dont see one pull one of the carbs off and get a better look its # 42 there is a link to it also you will have to look for it just put in http://www.yamahapar...nd/default.aspx
