Banshee crazy kid
Funny thing... I grew up riding dirt bikes... I prefer thumb on an atv though. You push and pull the handlebars to much for me to have twist. I have a buddy that tried a twist and crashed three times before he decided to put the thumb back on. well if u put it that way im never gonna get a twist on an atv, unless it is a slow atv Q??: does anyone run a thumbsaver on their banshee? Has it worked out well or is a waste of money?, even though it's only like 20 bucks...... I posted a question a while ago but noone replied
ninjamaster
I like the yamaha electronic cut off. Is there any twists that have this?
boonman
I like the yamaha electronic cut off. Is there any twists that have this? It is a good thing. However, it is just a band aid for the problem of the carbs sticking. And no, to my knowledge, there is no twist that keeps the TORS
fixitrod
Someone could modify the stock cable to fit the twist if they have the tools to crimp the ends on.
got1banshee
I drove a buddies Banshee with a twist a few years ago but I can't remeber it that well to know if I like it better or not. I would thing that it would be accedent prone, I think it would be easy to accedently twist the trottle open and flip you back or run into something. Although I think you could ride alot longer. My thumb hurts like hell after a few hours of riding with the thumb trottle. Pros and cons on everything I guess all personal preferanse Rick
bansheeman8
i havent tried a twist throttle on a banshee or any atv yet but i think i would like the thumb better for doing wheelie's.......is a twist goood for jumping? cuz im afraid to buy a twist then go off a jump and land real hard which would make my wrist go down and pin the throttle. Then end up with the shee ontop of me. Do any of u twist throttle users think that would happen? I ride MX with a twist and I've never had that happen but I have control of my body when I land so that my wrist doesn't twist the throttle open and even if it did, just slide up on the tank and left off. I honestly can't see why people have sucha hard time with a twist. I rode my thumb for about a year and then went to a twist, after about 5 laps I had it down.
