Inlet side carb boot clamps, help please...

Recommended Posts

I'm in need of some boot clamps on the inlet side of the carbs. I've tried my local stealership and MRCycles.com and I can't find any diagrams that show them. Can anyone help me out or does anyone have some for sale? I need some pretty bad...

Go to www.yamahapartsnation.com They do have them!!! I just bought some last year!! They cost $4.10 on the schematic on any of the yamaha parts sites.

I noticed that as well and had to order some more parts from MRCycles.com so I just added them onto my order. Logic would tell you that they're on the "Intake" page where the other clamps are but no no, that's too easy. This would've been a lot more simple than all the BS we went through to get to this point but seriously thank you very much to everyone for your help. Chris

Once again, if you don't wanna leave well-enough alone then refer to post #10, it may as well have your name all over it. I already posted what was gonna be my final post in this thread but then out come the nay-sayers again and again so I feel I must explain myself. If you or anyone else disagrees with me wanting to use the factory-correct parts then so be it. Are you gonna be the one having to deal with it or spend money on it? Not at all. Personally I think the "hose clamps" look like a hack job but you don't see me bashing someone else's shit or talking down on them for using it do you? It's just not my cup of tea so I prefer the OEM stuff and keep to myself. So run along and go get off on someone else's thread please. This one is done except for others having to have the last word probably for some kind of sick mental-emotional satisfaction that I can't explain... At this rate it will go into next year so may as well "sticky" it. I'm done.
