what carbs, what kind of hp

looking to get some info on carb size, the motor i am building is a 4mil long rod with k&t drag ported cylinders, vforce 2's, cool head with 21cc domes (pump gas), +4 timing, shearer in frame pipes, would stock carbs work for this setup or would i be better off going with bigger carbs and ifso what size, what kind of power should i make with stock carbs and the what kind of power with bigger carbs,,,,,,,,,,,thanks in advance

you'd prolly loose anywhere from 10-20hp +/- by using stock carbs on a drag port. With a drag port, your gonna need a 35-40mm carb. Call K&T and see what they suggest for your setup. They'll beable to get you close on your intial jetting with carbs their familiar with.

X2. I would contact K&T and see what they say. I'm sure they'll say you'd be better off running 35's or so.

Yea probably 35's if your running a drag ported 4mill down the track. If your just doing general riding then I would go pwk33's but I also wouldnt run a drag ported stock cylinder 4mill. A drag ported 4mill isnt a whole lot of fun for any thing but wide open duning and drag racing. I tried a drag ported 4mill and in the trails it wasn't much fun.

NO. I love drag ported cylinders. it teaches you to ride a banshee the way they were ment to be ridden. WFO! lol
