I havent strarted it yet but was wondering if I would need to do this mod. Let me know what you guys think
Boston
you wont need the dual pingle I run a setup just like yours for a couple years and didnt need it but later on I did buy the dual pingal just because. Id still drill your fuel cap and all that stuff to make sure your good.
bigblockbanshee
IMHO I wouldn't think it's near as much about the components as it is the style/habits of riding/rider. But that's just me...
Boston
yeah thats true. I ran my bike in the dunes and pinned alot and never had a problem with running out of gas.
Phelps
at least pull your stock fuel valve and make sure the filters are clean. when it comes to fuel delivery i would rather have the peace of mind that there is always plenty there.... chillls
i would think (& this is just my opinion) that it would be easier to get your filters on the fuel lines going to the carbs & routing them than the stock valve & having to get the TEE on the line plus a filter as well. i dont run a pingle but am looking at putting one in when i do 4mil kit just to rout the lines better & cleaner. again JMO
06specialedition
I run a duel pingle on my stock stroke ported banshee....IMO I like having the piece of mind. I may not 100% "need" it...but its worth it too me. They are kinda spendy though

BUILDER
Thanks for the input, I think I will put one on and not worry about it. The stock one is pretty easy to modify to make a high flow dual valve out of if you want to. Just a thought the pingle valve is kind of spendy.
