bbcmudtruck
Brand new cables should be lubed before you even put them on.
12 0 Clock P I M P
make sure you have it run the right way and that it is not being pinched anywhere it could bind up and be hard.....lube it up whenever you think about it...wont hurt
06specialedition
I know you can cut your carb springs.... but make sure you cut exactly the same amount on each one. I'd only take a little off at a time to start with. I've never done mine, but just heard of guys doing it.
guns4children
Get an extended billit thumb throttle. Best 50 bucks I spent on my quad. I ride trails and hills so I'm bliping the throttle a ton and my thumb hardly ever gets tired.

blue angel
it's not for everyone but I put a twist throttle on mine and I LOVE it.
bigblockbanshee
I'd try lubing the cable first as it's probably easiest. I didn't have to touch mine but on my brother-in-law's we cut either 2 or 4 coils out of each spring and it still didn't make a difference until he sprayed his cable down and now it's perfectly fine. We don't think his brand new cable ever got lubed, I think it was a Motion Pro kit. Same as my kit but mine had some sort of pasty grease coming out of the joints of the outer cover where his had none. Try it...
BUILDER
it's not for everyone but I put a twist throttle on mine and I LOVE it. Love my twist throttle but like was said earlier they are not for everyone.

bigblockbanshee
If you don't feel comfortable with it put the spring back in and try it.
