FASTOYS
I just installed the ez pull lever/perch and to tell you the truth I really don't notice any difference in it over the stock unit. Clutch pull feels about the same, didn't lighten up any that I can really tell. My cable is in great shape and is well lubed. Should there be a noticable difference? I do like the quick adjustment for the cable over stock. Never had anyone tell me that. Especailly over stock perch/lever. Call me if it's ours and we will see if something else is off.. What is the difference? i just popped my cable so ill be needing a new one... The cheaper one has a bronze bushing in it and the nicer one has a needle bearing for smoother longer lasting pull. hotrodbanshee
I went ahead and swapped back to the stock lever and the pull was harder and not as smooth as the ez pull. My bad, what happened was I was running the stock lever with 3 hd and 3 oem springs. Then l swapped over to the ez pull lever and 6hd springs and the pull felt about the same, but that is with 6 hd springs. I wasn't comparing apples to apples. Anyways for my adjustments I have the arrows lined up on the crankcase and I used a nickel to set the freeplay on the lever/perch. Do theses adjustments sound about right? FASTOYS
I like to keep the arrow a bit toward the stator side. The free play on lever may need to be a bit tighter as they dont have as much throw as the stocker.
