Gummie_guy
i would say cut them. looks way better when you do and when i rode i didnt get so dirty as to be a problem (other than rolling around in sand after hitting a rather big water spot and getting soaked) some guys will prolly say it helps keep you clean (cus the plastics get covered with dirt while you ride, but without them that mud flings elswhere) while others say you dont get any muddier with or without them. NOVIS
i think they look good when they come to a point so there is still a bit of fender. kinda like mine but pointed at the front. i get really muddy when its wet out, but thats what its all about lol
crustydemon
If you ride in the mud and wet shit you will get muddy and wet. If you cut your fenders off you will get douched.
Larry's Shee
Kind of comes down to do you want to get muddy? Or do you want to get REAL muddy. Consider getting another set that is cut or is worse shape to cut. Then you can have the best of both worlds.

bigblockbanshee
If you guys are worried about getting dirty or not you need to be on a big utility cruiser with full fenders and flares. Do what looks best to you and be done with it. Bunch of Nancies.

gotta_goatsfast
Once I went wider on my suspension the fenders didn't really do much to protect me anyway. I cut my fenders with a new razor blade and used a hair dryer to warm/soften the area to be cut. The razor makes a clean edge. Then, I used a torch to quickly go over and melt the sharp edges (without burning it) and it looks factory.
banshee55
Gotta go fast thats what im gunna do... I have a heat gun so.. Whats another way i can get rid of the sharp edges?... And please post a pic of urs on this post so i can see?
MarineNYC
Like i said in the other post. Cut them get rid of those tacky shock covers lights and grill. Makes the bike look like a Ronald McDonald will come ripping up on it. I say stay away from that razor blade method. Youre just asking for a slip up ans more scratches. put some blue painters tape on them use a marker and get some reference points with a tape measure. Then cut a piece of cardboard and make a template so both sides are symmetrical line it up on both sides and just trace. (Def do this so you can figure out what you like and so they match. Then take a jigsaw with a smooth finish blade ad have some balls and cut them. rip the tape off. Use some sandpaper and round over the edges and then hit the edges with a lighter or torch. Will clear off all the burrs and imperfections. Cut every plastics on every bike Ive owned. yz250 CR250 Banshee 450R . Trust me .
