CraigP
I have Elka front shocks but they need to be rebuilt and are not comfortable at all. If i had yfz front shocks will thye bolt right onto my front a arms? I have heard there are different kinds of yfz shocks, which type of yfz shocks are the best for banshees. (If it helps, i weigh 130lbs)
gotta_goatsfast
I STRONGLY suggest you hit up MattSCESC to have your Elkas rebuilt. IMO YFZ shocks on a banshee look to be more of a headache. Especially when you have some Elkas. Matt can rebuild them for your weight and your riding style. It'll be like riding a marshmellow. CraigP
What is the headache about yfz shocks? I think the problem is that i used to have a yamaha blaster with the elkas on it and once i got my banshee i switched the shocks over so im not sure if the shocks should be on the banshee
MN SHEE
I have yfz shocks with yfz arms and wish i dident do it now. I will be getting a set of long travel arms soon to use the yfz shocks and save for some elkas

CraigP
What do the Elkas measure out from eye-to-eye? Im going to measure tomorrow because its 11:40p.m. where i live. What size are banshee shocks from eye to eye?
gotta_goatsfast
My PEPs are 14.75"
CraigP
My PEPs are 14.75" I willl post the measurement tomorrow. The elkas just seem like they dont have any rebound (For example: if u jump on the front bumper, my banshee only goes down about 2-3 inches)

Jereme6655
ill give you $50-$75 for each elka..... haha....but okay in all serious-ness.....call or pm matt. He rebuilds our atv shocks on here and he's a pimp about it. From the sounds of it you will just need to have your shocks rebuilt/revalved for your specific riding and your weight. I bet after you get them back you'll be in love.
CraigP
I sent Matt a message. The shocks are about 13.75" from eye to eye.
