camatv
they are cool to use. i have been using one for quite a while adn EVERY banshee needs the carbs synch by airflow instead of sight. i have done bikes with just pipes and nothing else they run killer afterwards. these synch should be available at local VW shops if you have one close to you. Hilarious
is this what yours looks like kinda....... the power jets are in the bell end of the carb and wont let the sync tool penetrate (lol) the opening of the carb and make a seal to get an accurate reading. i havent really spent too much time tring to sync my carbs with this tool on my methanol bike, just tring to get both slides fully open all the way at the same time. other than that i agree with the sync tool's usefullness and for the most part works well. camatv
go to the hardware store and buy 2 rubber plumbing connectors or maybe even one and cut it in half measure the throat of the carb. then drop the synch in it. your just setting idle and just off idle cable adjustments with it. NOT really anyting over that. there are also reducers you can use if it still dosnet seem to work well. i was able to synch lectrons with it i never really worried about getting an air tight seal they will read what ever is going throgh them if you seem to place the tool in the same spot in both carbs they seem to work well. KlotzBanshee
OK, I got one of these from Jeffro around Christmas time and I haven't tried to use it yet. It's too fuggin cold to go out in the garage and mess with the banshee. Q? - Whats the deal with the holes in the sides of the middle boot? Do you line them up or what? Didn't come with any instructions.

Thats exactly why i use this one > http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-4025 It seals against the face side of the carb bell. I know i've posted a few times lately about this particular part, but i really like it and i have no stocks in Edelbrock either! hehe
