swordfish028 Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 i see alot of people say they have a block off plate. what is that? what does it do and is it neccesary. also does an timing plate help with speed. what else do i have to have done to my bike in order to use an timing plate set at plus 4. guys im very green at everything so bear with me on all of the questions. bansheesrtoys Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 well the block off plate is for the rear E-brake, to take it off you have to put on a plate after. it on the rear caliper help on with two bolts. easy to do. and for the timing plate just have to put it on adjust , do a plugg chopp and thats it. as long as your plugs look good. 06specialedition Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 Yeah the block off plate pretty much deletes your ebrake. The ebrake sucks IMO anyways, so a block off plate is a good cheap mod. I run a tusk brand on mine and its really nice, and comes with an oring.
