Has any one had any experience with adding a second powerjet on alky carbs? I have a set of 39 pumper pwk's and the last time i was out it was running a little lean with the clippard pj all the way out. I have

an extra set of clippard pj's and im thinking of adding them to the carbs. I dont really want to drill the dumps any larger then .120 because i am also using these carbs for a 4mil backup motor. will the dmr superjets

put out more fuel? Its a 18dm. Thanks guys

Are your clippards that are installed drilled at all? If you know that you will always need some fuel through them, you can drill them out a bit, but they will not totall shut off after that if you ever need them closed at some point.. Lots of guys are running 2 power jets, there are even a few guys out there with 3 on some of the huge twins that are drinking a half gallon of fuel a pass..

THe 4 mil should like a bigger main than the 18 mil. If you could drill them out to say 0.122, that may work. BUT like you've said, the dual pjs would be much safer (not ruin your carbs for one of the motors) and you can always turn one off. YOu could also try the Dave Moore power jets. They flow a lot more than the clippards. I liked them when I used them, but most (if not all) builders will tell you they are very touchy in trying to get dialed in.
