So Cal Suspension
Lol, never heard of anything remotely close to that. It sounds like more of campfire stories more than anything.

Any other ideas to be safe.. LOL, you guys crack me up... Don't worry about anything getting stolen. It's not going to happen... No one is going to rob you at gunpoint. No one is going to come traipsing through your camp in red or blue bandannas with sawed off shotguns yelling "ode lay holmes" looking to steal your bike. I NEVER lock anything up out there. I never even lock the door to my motorhome... make friends with your neighbors right when you get there, and have a good time. If your neighbors seem shady, keep on truckin' to a different spot (I've never had to do this). Your neighbors will be your best ally in the "war at glamis"
wacko2000
This is some funny shit, Ive only been there once before and we didnt have any problems, also all the years Ive been on the HQ and following glamis Ive never heard of anything serious like this. First trip to glamis I blew up the shee on the 3rd day, went into town and bought a brand new YFZ, they delivered it a few hrs lata to our site, the shee stayed at camp unlocked for the remaining of the trip with no issues. Hope all goes well this time around
Michael Jackson
i dont know much of anything about guns or gun laws.. but im pretty sure you cannot murder someone for stealing your dirtbike from your campsite. be prepared to spend the rest of your days rotting in a concrete box . it sounds cool on the forum for a second, but be realistic, its not worth it. from the amount of people who are there every weekend, and given its geographical location, its kind of hard to imagine these types of things not happening, they dont all have to have the same tatoo or color on to act like wild animals
MarineNYC
Im with the Cali guys. Been going there for years and never had a problem. and hell if there was well then they picked the wrong campsite. We are rolling out with almost 100 dudes. all camped together. Would be pretty stupid to come into our site. ANd Oh yea Joey. The only thing you will be packing is PB&J

Joeyblunts420
I've never heard of any of this but then again I live on the other side of the country in NY.. Going to Glamis has been my lifelong dream since I saw Crusty Demons of Dirt videos 10+ years ago, it's like the Dirt Bike/ ATV Mecca. Even if things were that bad there, I'd still wanna go. BUILDER
Ya know people were all telling me that same shit before I went last year and we had a total blast. Pople there were super nice hell the guy camped next to us gave us all a ride in his LS1 powered rail. We could not have ask for people to be more friendly when they would see the Oregon plates on our tow rigs they would stop in and ask us about the Oregon dunes and offer us a beer and just hang out and bull shit. So I call bull shit to many people sitting around the camp fire and running out of stories to tell so they make this shit up. We always lock our shit up at night but we do that no matter where we go. Glamis was cool but after going to Saint Anthony's last year I will go back there many more times before I go to Glamis again.
