NastyQuickie
I wanted to wait till I fully tested this Dune/Play Port Job from Herr Jugs Racing before I posted. One word "EPIC" when i first took my jugs to Kevin I asked him if with this port job i would be able to beat raptor 700s up hill and drags at glamis. He told me as long as they weren't heavily moded that I should have no problem pulling in front of them. Im not going to lie, at first i was skeptic you know its just human nature. In the back of my mind i was thinking "seriously how much of a difference can it make" It wasn't until i unloaded it from the trailor started it and actually took off that i realized this thing was a beast! It even sounded different I couldn't beleive that the port job made that much of a difference. It felt like the banshee was on steroids. Well Test time came at Olds and the drags in the evening all i can say is i smoked a lot of 700s only things that were faster were some moded banshees 4mil and bigger! The best investment on my Banshee hands down. I was thinking of getting bigger carbs at first because i had race a guy earlier that year who beat me and he had told me that the $700 he spent on top end rebuild and carbs were the best investment. I really thought the same because he had beat me and i was still stock. The thing is he beat me maybe by 2-3 bike lengths. I refleted on that when i tested my bike and couldn't help but feel like dude i coulda gone that route and been pissed when i would have gotten smoked by a 700 raptor. My Dune/Play ported shee will eat stock shees and moded raptors although not heavily moded ones, but ones with pipes, ecu and intake with a cam will get blown away. This is my "EPIC" experience and i just wanted to share, thanks
jbooker82
Yep and the same would be expected from any other site sponcer that builds banshee specific engines. You can have you a fast machine for not a whole lot of money if you go about it the right way and dont blow your money on stuff that isnt really needed. Pipes, Port job, Shaved head, and a timing plate.

Yup I totally agree thats what Kevin told me the same thing so i took his advice and it paid off and for so little compared to what some other people spend. I already had Pipes and a timing plate so all i needed was the port job and milled head and that was enough to satisfy my need for speed for now. I will be considering a 4mil in the future because he also did my buddies shee with a 4 mil and that thing moves!
camatv
porting does a lot thats for sure. all the external bolt on stuff is pretty useless with out a good port the stocker cyls are crap.

BigRed350x
Kevin does some awesome work! I've always been a do-it-myself kinda guy, but with my new job I don't have the time I used to. I've been sending my stuff to kevin now and I'm extremely satisfied with his work and craftsmanship. I have a set of stock stroke cylinders he did a little dune port on for me and they are very nice! MarineNYC
I had Kevins Jugs. By far the best mod done. It really made me say hold shit!! Ride them for a season and then got some 35 pwks from Kevin anf let me tell you. Holy shit. Those carbs talky brought alot more power out of thee motor. Get yourself some carbs and you will see another bigg gain.
CFH87
How's the power delivery? Is it smooth or like a light switch. I'm going to have mine rebuilt by kevin. Also trying to decide if I should stay stock stroke long rod or go 4mil.

Glenyboy
Not trying to change the subject here but in a drag race how would a stock banshee with t5's do against a yfz 450 with a pipe and cam? Just that I'm making my banshee road legal and round my way they're are a few 450's on the road just wanna know what I'd be up against if I were have a run against one? Also by chance is it expensive to have it ported and skimmed as my budget isn't big just got a set of t5's for £50 which is about $70, they're a bit tatty but they will hopefully make a bit of difference to my stocker!
