guns4children
Ok so I want to do an air box mod to get more air. My current mods are as follows: FMF SST pipes, Vito’s super stock pistons, tors eliminator, stock head shaved .20, timing set to +4, and I also have vf3 reeds that still need to be put on. I was planning on taking the lid off the stock box and getting an outer wear to put over the top. Would that give me a noticeable change in performance? I really would like to keep the box because I ride trails that get muddy sometimes. Thanks for your help guys!
dirtydownunder
yes, it will breathe better so it will perform better and need more fuel, so make sure you go up a few jet sizes. if you have the stock style airfilter adapter (white cage that your filter sits on) you will need a filter adpater (like a pro flow one) with new filter. the stock filter cages are shit, and leak. (the stock lid also keeps it in place)
