Id rather run the 2s than 3s anyday!
SuprSlow50
Sorry to threadjack, but I didnt want to start another similar thread... Would it be worth getting a set of v-2 or vf-3's on a ported 4mil stroker motor? Or would the increase in power and throttle response not be worth the money? BigRed350x
I personally like the design of the 3's more than the 2's. The 2's have too many little screws that can come loose and go flying into your top end. If you already have the dual stage boysen reeds, you probably won't notice a whole lot of difference with the vforce system. Both work about the same and both are better than stock. To answer the other guys question... Yes, if you are running stock reeds, then get whichever vforce reed system you like more. Both are better than a stock setup, especially on a 4mil. Jereme6655
my bike has the V-force2 reeds and my buddies bike has Boysen reeds...other than that we have almost exactly identical bikes. however when we would swap bikes for a quick rip we always noticed one thing.....mine had more of a peppy reaction of the throttle...more throttle response and a better feel. His was a little sluggish.
LONGROD
so you can but dual stage reeds on stock cages ?

Green - Where do the VF2s make more power (what rpm)? I have VF3s in several motors and some VF2s in one motor I just dynoed last week. It made more power in a certain rpm range than another motor with VF3s but the porting was drastically different as well.

Next time Im messing around on it, Ill try and remember to pull up the runs as look.. I do remember that on the 20mm billet they took the 3s out and put the 2s in, and it made 4 more HP.. On the the 7mm super pulled the 3s out and put the 2s back in, and it made 7 more hp. Did the same thing to the 10 mini billet and made 5 hp difference. n2otoofast4u
Full of shyt! Look you fucking retard. Its people like you that need to take you comments and shove them in your ass.. Ive seen this first hand on the dyno, and you say Im full of shit??? Just because a new product comes out doesnt mean it makes more hp than the others. You wouldnt know that because your too fucking ignorant, and think your 4mm know it all ass has the fastest and baddest banshee on this site. Id like to see the results, seeings how everyone in the biz says the vforce 3's are a worthy upgrade if thats what you got left. Im not going to say if you got 2's to just go out and get 3's cause there that much better, but id like to see the data behind your statement. Sounds like your suffering from little mans syndrom in your post. Not here to make enemys, just a reason or prove behind your results. Theres plenty of people that come here and make opinions, but i need prove to believe. I have no dyno results or anything of that nature saying that 3's are better than 2's. Just the fact that i dont think a manufacture would discontinue a line of 2;s that make more power than there new and improved 3's, and i could be totally wrong. But id like to see those dyno pulls. Relax all in fun, were all here for entertainment and to discuss and enjoy our sport, have a few kick back and relax!
