Currently im running stock carbs, 310 mains, 27.5, toomey needles on the 3rd from the top. Im thinking of upgradeing to bigger carbs.. Whats size does everyone recommend for this set up. badassbanshee479
34mm pjs or 35mm pwks would work great on your setup.
dirtydownunder
i would have thought 28's would be nice, seeing as your ported for midrange.
gotta_goatsfast
I'll second that! 28mm Keihin PWKs would work well. You could run 35mm PWKs, but thats a little much for a stock stroke mid-range oriented motor. It'll pull slightly more at the very top than 28s but it will bog more at lower rpm and throttle response wont be as crisp as 28s.
rappy660
yea i was thinkng 28's but it seems like 35s are cheaperand easier to find
papa_smurf49319
What kind of riding do you do? I would skip the pjs all together and go with the pwks, you will be much happier.
sheerider1026
why not a single 35 pwk?? i love mine
camatv
i prefer dual 28's over any single carb set up.. plus the cost is not that much.
LONGROD
I have everything you have minus the port and I have 28 pwks.. a very nice spread of power..
