Wiseco's are great pistons. As far as more power, your best bet would be sending your cylinders to a site sponsor and having them ported to your riding style. I had Wildcard Racing port mine... and his work is top notch :bolt: .

Any site sponsor here does awesome work, you can't go wrong with anyone.

x2 on porting....right now it looks like you have a decent setup there for trails, if your riding trails. if your looking for a little something cheaper than porting and major motor work, you could always go ahead and make some airflow changes by removing the airbox lid or aftermarket filter(you will have to re-jet), and ditch the boost bottle for a regular stock crossover tube. WISECO or BUST for pistons..... speed isnt always everything as well. the hp you have can always be complimented well by a nice suspension. looks into maybe some new wider a-arms and shocks. you wont know what to do with yourself once you ride aftermarket compared to stock.

well i pretty much ride it on the open roads and sometimes trails, i also drag race it. i also forgot to add that i cut the air box completely off and it has a pro flow intake piece and k&n airfilter, and whats wrong with the boost bottle is it better to just do the tube

what i have in mind to do right now is buy some noss heads and about 19cc or 20cc domes and get it bored 20 over like i said with wiseco pistons then buy some reeds im thinking either vforce3s or boyseen rad valves what are better? and getting the t-6 silencers for now because my t-5 silencers are looking pretty rough, then porting like you guys said idk if i can it looks kind of expensive im only 15 but i have a job, id ont get paid much tho only 6.29 a hour, but im saving money to build it so im trying to do cheapest things first

The boost bottles are known to stretch and crack the intake boots.....so the stocker is better for the longrun.....no advantage to BB

Porting is a good bang for the buck but its roughly $300-450 depending on port and where its done.......

You can get an advanced timing plate for behind your stator and go +4 advanced timing......timing plate avg used piece 35-40 bucks...

You can also do something real cheap and that is gearing......for top end or low end.....whatever your style....15-20 bucks for sprockets

those carbs are going to be ok for adding power but its nice to know what u have so find out for sure....

You can get a cool head with interchangeable domes......the smaller the cc domes the higher your compression will be.....avg 100-125 bones

WIseco pistons also great for handling more power.....if you have your crank out....send it to get trued and welded like 40-50 bucks plus shipping fees

X2 on the suspension........makes every difference in the world and you enjoy the ride and riding a lot more. avg cost = sky is limit

porting sounds good but what kind is the best, like i said i ride it on mostly open roads and once in a great while ill go in trails but i also take and drag race it, but ill probably go with the trail porting for 270 bucks if i do that, but with getting it ported is there anything else i have to do

If your going to start increasing your power I would look into getting your crank welded. You can send the builder who ports your cylinders your crank as well.

for sure keep the Toomey T-5's if you plan to port the cylinders. The T-6's are not very good for ported motors. the T-6'swork great stock but that's about it. I've notice a losing battle to try to make power with t-6's. If your t-5's look ruff try to just clean them out with with Nuts and bolts work great with some Gas helps break . helps break up the Carbon in the pipes. if you silencers are ruff change them with the t-6's the are the same just un bolt them. Maybe throw some light sanding and shoot them with some high temp paint. cost about 5 bucks in paint and they turn out sweet. I'd use a matt black.

Go with V-force 3-'s the boyseens.... ehhh are ok but the V-force will make more of a difference. Do a pro design Cool head with 22cc domes if your looking for a cheap universal head. They are about 250.00 with domes. if you don't plan to port it. if you do port it the individual that does do it should be able to suggest you the proper size domes depending on the fuel you plan to use. But.... better yet just modify your stock head. Runs about 80-$100.00 and works just as well for the light mods your doing.

I can imagine it being tuff @ your pay but if it's your passion to ride your bike you'll enjoy every minute of it when it's done. as well you learn some cool things doing it. I'm sure 90% of the members can tell you when they 1st started the same thing.

DON"T use a ProDesign head, they are overpriced and you have to change the studs. Get a head from Noss, less money and they use the stock studs. You should ABSOLUTELY get your crank trued and welded since you are on a budget. If your crank lets go, which it WILL do if it is not welded, it will damage your new pistons and head, your cases and possibly even more. Then you will have to buy it all again plus a new crank. With the cylinders off you should be able to tell if it has been welded by looking, but if you split the cases you will get a chance to see if there are any other problems. It is ALWAYS best to build it reliable BEFORE you build it fast. Also, you might want to do some shifter mods, a billet water pump impeller, and check your clutch basket, shift shaft and kickstarter idler gear while you are in there. When my idler got sloppy and the clip came off I had to buy an idler gear, a crank gear, a water pump gear and a new clutch basket because they all got damaged. The other thing to think about is when your bike fails, how long of a walk is it back to your truck.

ive had my mind set on noss heads nothing else, but like i said im 15 years old and i dont know how to split the case and neither does my dadis there anyone that could help me, and where can i get the crank trued and welded without sending it in to someone, also what kind of shifter mods are saying i should get, and what kind of impeller should i use, modquad which is 56 bucks or pro design which is 72 on rogueperformanceproducts.com, also another question where can i get wiseco or vetos top end rebuild kits with gaskets and everything for bore 20 over and thats under 300 dollars

well now ive changed my mind and im getting it bored 40 over i found a top end rebuild kit from wiseco for $195.95, ill have about roughly 400 dollars after getting it bored and buying the pistons, then with that money ill try to get the crank trued and welded if i can and if i can find someone to do it, which like you guys said should be about 50 bucks, so then ill be down to 350, then ill buy the vforce3 reeds which are 220, that will put me at 130, then ill buy a full motor gasket kit and replacement stainless steel allen screws for the side covers which cost $45.45, ill be left with 85 bucks plus all the shipping costs i have to add in, so ill probably be at maybe 75 or 70 bucks, what should i buy with that much left
