camatv Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 dg's BLOW i rember a pipe test a LONG time ago they were just BARELY above stock pipes in power. i always thought he silencers looked kinda cool. but the performance is just not there. i'd take a rusty set of FMF fatty's over new chrome dg's anyday Quote

CraigP Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 I bought my banshee with a set of DGs on it. I personally like CPI and Paul Turner. I never have liked DG pipes. I think my performance is okay, could be higher. The one thing i do like about the DG is the sound, i dont know if all DGs are this way, but my banshee is really deep sounding and i do get compliments on the deep sound. Other than tht, i dont recommend them and i have them on my banshee now. Quote

jbooker82 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Anything is fast when you weigh in the 100 lb range. I am sure they are fine but I wouldn't buy a set when there are clearly better choices out there. I would take them over OEM Yamaha pipes though. Quote
