BigRed350x
Try a different set of cases and compare measurements to the cases from the pics.
BigRed350x
You might want to remove that zip tie before any further assembly. lol
n2otoofast4u
You might want to remove that zip tie before any further assembly. lol What brand of crank, and what stroke is it?
okbeast
What brand of crank, and what stroke is it? Title says 10mil TDR. Depending on what the clearances are, if it's out I'd send it back.
camatv
look up the specs in the factory manual and measure the side clearance i bet its not together all the way i've been seeing this more and more lately ( not sure why) .006 is a bit much i'd shoot for .001 it will rev much easier and the bearings will hold up much better motor will run better and last much longer. the crank/ pistons/ cy;inder is the heart of a motor and not to be thrown together.. call TDR they will make it right for you.. stroking
You might want to remove that zip tie before any further assembly. lol i was just checking clearances,if you look closely you can see there not even a tranny in there yet........wont get far without one of those... i think
camatv
TDR is great tony has never left me hangin on anything i have ever bought from him. ( and to think some shops would have told you uh its a "race part" and your screwed...) and checking your clearances is a good habit to get into!! dajogejr
I'd like to see that same crank in an actual crank stand...and see what it measures out to ...then compare it to the cases. As far as would I run it? Hell no...not on a brand new build/brand new crank. My new Vitos this year was either .001 or .002...I forget... sleeper06
.003 is the max .005 is gonna run but the unwanted vibration can work its way into everything
BigRed350x
The ladies might like the vibration, but you won't and neither will the rest of your engine parts.
