Long rod (115)

That is the recommended rod length for the cubs, use blaster style pistons and everything lines up. No need to get it ported.

 

I guess it depends on if he is running a stock stroke cub cylinder now and wanting to up grade or if he is starting out fresh with all new parts.

That is why he will have to buy the correct pistons, which will change the location of his pin height, blaster style for the 115, and regular pin height for the stock(110)rod.
