tedd1
Under the gas tank, just above the left spark plug, there is a small box attached to the frame with 3 wires (Y/B, B, B/W), unplug those wires and you are good.
06specialedition
X2. Unplug that and it will disable the tors
Spidy
Now I know I disconnected mine wrong by not installing the kit but what I did was... Disconnect both Tors units buy unplugging the wires that lead to them. I also disconnected the wires that went up to the throttle. After my wires were disconnected I took the filters off and turned the screws on top of the Tors units so the slide inside the carbs dropped as far as they would. Then I went to the throttle cable adjustment nut and adjusted both so the slides were set very close to each other when pushing the throttle. When I got them close to opening up the same I tightened the throttle cable nut back down (make sure that rubber boot goes all the way back on). After everything was back together, other than the wiring I use the screws on the top of the Tors unit to fine tune them. I used my eyeball to see that both slides were opening at the same time. If one was opening before the other I would use the Tors adjustment screw to sync them. After the adjustments were done, I started the bike and adjusted the idle using the Tors adjustment screws. Maybe someone will chime in here and give there idea. Anyway good luck m8!
fastquad02blaster
Just unplug the box and youre done. You adjust the idle the same way as before...the two screw adjustments on the tops. The kit is to change carb tops and make it less cluttered and put idle adjustments in the carb body, instead of on the tops.
