Best approach to repair a gouge in pipe.

Well my freinds son dropped a tire iron on my right pipe , and it got this 2 inch gouge in it now. Its one of those things thats irritates ya till its fix. So whats the best approach. It almost looks like a drememl was takin too it. No dent just a nasty little gouge .

sand it down and polish it. It ll never look perfect but it will look alot better. itll just smooth out the edgees of the cut and make the inner part shiny to.

it will rust like crazy, if you don't keep up with it..... like every ride...

CPI does pipe repairs if your wanting to send them in :shrugani:

Yeah i just got off the phone with them its 20.00 to weld up the gouge, then 65.00 to re chrome the pipe, i was gonnna have the pipe re chromed anyway cause some of the chrome on the under side was bubbling.

That sounds like a helluva price on chroming. I'd definitely pull the trigger on that deal.
