locogato11283
I currently have an older Kenwood in dash DVD player with a 7" flip out screen in my 2005 Dodge Ram. It does not have built in iPod or Bluetooth hookups. They make an add-on that's supposed to work with the iPod, but it doesn't and have read reviews about how it's hit and miss with it. So, I am looking to upgrade to something newer that has built in Bluetooth and iPod. Also, mine is currently set up to where I can watch DVD's while I'm driving down the road. There is a bypass to do that. I do not want to lose that capability. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to keep it under $1,000 which from what I've looked at shouldn't be too hard. Links to head units would be great as well as input.
prssantana
I had one and i had to ground the wire that connects to the ebrake. As far as I know its the same on all of them.
shanYE west
you want nav or not? Some units have a gyro and that makes it a lil harder to bypass. Can you fit a double din? or does it have to be a single din (flip out style)
locogato11283
Single DIN flip out. I don't really give a shit about Nav because I have my Garmin. I just want built in Bluetooth and iPod controls. If Nav wasn't much more I'd take it just to have it.

locogato11283
alpine or clarion has everthing your looking for I haven't read any good reviews of anything by Clarion or Alpine. Their descriptions sound all awesome but when I read the reviews, they say the shit doesn't work nearly as well as the companies make them out to. Mainly, the iPod controls.
