SiCkBaNsHeE_990 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 Well i had to split the case on the banshee i just bought to replace the crank that had a broken rod. Anyways ive never been this far into the engine and was just wonder what the torque need to be on the bolts that hold the case together and if there is a specific tightening procedure. jasons Posted November 15, 2010 Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 tighten crankcase nuts 1-8 to 3.6 ft lbs tighten crankcase bolts 9-16 to 3.6 ft lbs then crankcase nuts 1-8 to 7.2 ft lbs crankcase nuts 1-8 to 18 ft lbs crank crankcase bolts to 7.2 ft lbs this is per the clymers manual.
