Custom Stock Exhaust?

WayBackWhen

Recommended Posts

Ok so Im fairly new to the 2-Stroke world, gotta say I love it. I was wondering, my '00 Banshee sounds great as it is, and its a stock exhaust, but can I bore some holes or break a bunch of bottles and make my own glasspack to make it louder or more aggressive? Im a make-your-own kind of person and hate spending a ton of money, but if thats what i have to do, ill do it.

hell no! if you modify the stock pipes it will run like shit! best bet is to get a set of used aftermarket pipes and rejet the carbs. the stock pipes restrict the banshee really bad. aftermarket pipes will wake that banshee up big time over stock pipes!!!!

stock pipes strangle your motor. like running the 100 yard dash breathing through a straw. you don t have to spend a fortune on aftermarket pipes. check the for sale section. you can find fatties, bills, dg, pro circuit pipes all for under 200 shipped.

Hit up "NYUK" ^. He had a few sets of pipes for sale as of yesterday. Get some Pro Circuits and re-jet...they are a great all around pipe. I wouldn't mess with your stock exhaust...you will for sure make it run worse.
