crtscampbell
I traded for a new bottom end with a hotrod 4mill in it. I put it together with wiseco 795M06550 pistons and the pistons past the top of the cylinder head at top dead center. They come up like a cm, just enough to tap the head. Is this normal for the 4 mills?
hercalmighty
Yes. The pistons will come out of the top of the cylinders about 2mm. You have to run cut domes or a spacer plate. The domes are the better way to do it.

jbooker82
You buy domes that are machined for a 4 mill crank, unless you have a lathe and the know how to cut them at the right angle.
