I would drop the compression a little but that all depends on how the port and such is set up as well Edited October 17, 2010 by banshee332

banshee332
Yep ok just making sure. now for 300ft that would be ok but the 1/8th and the 1/4th is just a tad much I think around 170ish would be better for that long of a run
dajogejr
I agree...too much compression and timing. 20 to 21cc domes and start off with 7 degrees of timing and check the plug burn. You might be able to get away with that setup in 300feet, I don't think it'll last for 660 or 1320.
stroking
well i want it to run as fast as possible so i'LL try dropping the comp first.....may go down to 130psi and work up if needed
BANSHEE HP
shoot for about 155-160psi, your rpms will increase alot dropping from 200psi which is what u want in a 1/8 asphalt race.

sleeper06
20 inch tire also that motor can def pull a bigger tire,6th gear on asphault,a tunable clutch system will give you your biggest gain, the first 60ft is everything
stroking
its got 18" tires we prefer smaller tires>>>less weight and more speed once gearing is right......going to 20/33 gearing....its running 106mph now with 20/36 has big bowls lockup 1-5 override also it keeps wheeling, taking off in second and going 12o clock in 3th-4th i thought these long mouth frames didnt need a wheelie bar...i was wrong Edited October 22, 2010 by stroking
jay shafer
what 60ft times are u running with that 20t front sprocket.....i would change that to a 17 or 18 and keep the 36 on the back or go to a
