GrMeyer
I would have to say the same thing. Why not keep what you have now? Dual carbs are easy to tune in. All you really need is a vac gauge. They are like $30 That where alot of people go wrong.
bellracing2
I just wanted to try it . all I do is super tight woods riding .I only see 6th gear 2-3 times a season , and 5th gear is very rare also . I wanted to try the single carb along with the 2 into 1 pipe inthe spring . so for now I am just collecting parts .
06specialedition
If you where going to run a single carb i hear most people running a 35. IMHO I would stick with two carbs, but I know there are people who run 1 with no problems.
jbooker82
Dont run a carb on my 2:1 intake for maximum power. I just have a power jet hooked to the fuel tank installed in the intake.

The big thing on dual carbs is having they synced. If they are not sycned, then you will have one hell of a time with the low end. I would just put your money some where else like a timing plate, intake-filter/s, suspension, cool head and or porting. If you have not yet done a +4 deg on the timing. It will help much with the low end sense you dont see very high RPMs.
bellracing2
I was already planning on the timing plat @ +4 , and have the head cut down . I want to try this single carb setup to see if I like it , thats all . I have been sync'n carbs for yrs , so thats not an issue . I just want to know what carb would be the best throttle responce for the 100 % stock bike .
jbooker82
I would go with a PWK 33 then. That way if you decide to ditch the 2:1 you can sell the intake by its self and buy another pwk33. I dont know how a 33 2:1 runs though. I never have ran a 2:
