robert.b.west
I bought a roundhouse swingarm and carrier and when installed it the rear sprocket looked like it was out of alignment with the front. (too far from the center of the bike)When I rode it I could hear the chain. It sounded like it was getting caught up on the sprocket. So my question is can i get a different hub for my rear sprocket that has a different offset that would push it like 1/4" inward. Or is there something else that I can do? I need help guys give me what you have.
shanYE west
if you got the swinger from someone reputable, its probably the normal offset. I'd get ahold of who built the swingarm to comfirm that its not excessive. No spacer or hubs are made to move the sprocket in.
Darthwall
Ive never done it before but you might be able to shim it with washers or something
robert.b.west
I got it used from someone on the site. I was just curious if it could fix it some how?

bansheesrtoys
is the snap ring on that holds on the brake caliper bracket. if not then the hole carrier need to be moved over make sure the adjustable side with the holes is flat agaisnt the housing, second is the sporcket hub in all the way or is it getting stuck on the splines or is it a used carrier with the bearring not installed the right way. The snap ring is in place and the carrier can't move back and forth. The sprocket hub is going all the way in and touching the bearing and the bearing are fully seated. It just doesnt make sense to me. I have been looking at a for awhile and had it apart a few times.

bansheesrtoys
is the pivot bearings good and tight or is their play in the swingarm, when i say play i mean put it on a stand and take a rear tire and try to move it side to side and up and down,it it lose it will make the swing arm go sideways when you gas it. and the reason people get a round house is so the chain is always aligned, so somthing is wrong. don't settle for a misaligned chain it will wear out chains and sprockets real fast. I replaced the pivot bearings and tube before i installed the new swingarm. I will check for play though. I only rode it for a little bit. I could tell something was wrong. On my way back to the truck the chain caught and bent the rear sprocket and hub. So it had to have off quite a bit.

bansheesrtoys
i don't see anything wrong , are you sure it is not bent , clean it all up an look at welds for stress marks since it looks powedr coated look for chipped paint . if it is not bent and you can't find out what's wrong . you can file down the swing arm roundhosing where the carrier and swingarm seat, so that you can move the carrier over some. i would do it a little at a time , don't use a spacer or washer to just move the sprocket because that would weakin the sprocket by putting pressure on the bolt holes. use a nice big flat file and take your time

Craig Walker
What did you find out what was knocking you off aligment? I'm having the exact same issue with a LSR swinger and carrier. Some of my findings are, I have powder coat on meeting edges guesuing about 1/16 worth of paint, worn out bearings and upon inspection there is an spacer tube that will prevent both sets of bearing to completely seat estimating holding each side out a 1/16 on each side. into the carrier so when the new bearing come in there are going to get smaked all the way to the left. Hoping i'll get 3/16 to the left with all fixies and then if that dosn't work i'm grinding the inside edge of the chain hub to get even more left
