Barracuda
I bought a set of Power Pro drag pipes, but my engine builder said they sucked. I only paid 200 for them and they are in great shape . they look like they have hardly beed used. Good deal or not? RoostKing...

BaddestBanshee
Power pro will make any pipe you want. So, there is no telling if those are custom or if they are manufactured pipes. I just had them make me a set that look like cpi's, But, they cost less and it is easier for me to do it that way. Got pics of em, I might notice them. Texas Outlaw
Barracuda, who's your builder? Rudy Kurtz(Port Magic) uses and recommends Power Pro pipes. Rudy's bikes are some of the fastest in the country. Nothing wrong with Power Pro's.
Barracuda
Thanks for the replies, I know that some real fast banshees run the power pros, so i didnt really (obviously) take his advice. I like the fact they have silencers as well. I dont know how strict they are going to be at the dunes(Glamis) as far as sound levels. Thanks again! RoostKing... BaddestBanshee
I have the hush silencers, they db'ed at 92!
Barracuda
Im not sure if mine are hush, but they are integrated into the pipe. I suppose they are? RoostKing...
BaddestBanshee
If you look in the silencer end there should be a piece of steel tube mounted sideways, the canister diameter is also about 3.5" around.
alkydier
I have same side power pros and they work good for my setup lots of topend.
imaduner
Several of us have identical shees w/ powerpros pipes like baddest banshee described (ILR customer ??). They work fine...not quite as much bottom end as toomeys but way better on top. sounds like drag pipes if you have integrated silencers...doubt they are hush or super quiets tho. BaddestBanshee
ILR all the way Baby! I just ran the new ones at Moses on Sunday night. I killed everything out there. They do have way more mid power than the full out drag pipes. It is a lot like the cpi's!
OutOfControl
Are you guys running inframe or out of frame? How do they run on small bore motors? What kind of porting ?
imaduner
We are running powerpros in frames w/super quiet silencers (92 db). 3 of us w/ identical shees are basically stock motors w/ K&N(no lid),carbon tech reeds,+4 timing, not the fastest guys out there but do well on the hills etc. The bottom end could be improved with more compression.
